Dr. Owen Korn Bruzzone is a renowned Surgeon specializing in Digestive Surgery and a Full Professor at the University of Chile. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Chile in 1981 and has developed a distinguished career in research and teaching. He received a research fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to specialize in Digestive Surgery at the Chirurgische Klinik und Poliklinik, Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technischen Universität München, Germany. He later completed a Diploma in Clinical Unit Management from the Health Administration Institute of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at the University of Chile.
Throughout his career, he has authored or co-authored 131 medical articles and has co-edited the texts Abdominal Hernias and Gastric Cancer. Additionally, he has contributed to children's literature as a co-editor of the storybooks Imagina que Volamos, Vol. I and II.
