Dr. Juan Carlos Acuña Hinojosa, a physician and surgeon specializing in Anatomic Pathology and a graduate of the University of Chile, brings his experience and expertise as a collaborator on the digital educational platform Aditus Explora, where he develops and presents insightful content on General Pathology in digital capsule formats.
Currently, Dr. Acuña serves as the Head of the Anatomic Pathology Unit at the San José Hospital Complex and as an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine at Universidad Diego Portales. His academic and professional credentials include a Diploma in Clinical Services Management from the School of Public Health at the University of Chile and a Diploma in Teaching Methods and Skills from Universidad Finis Terrae.
Dr. Acuña is an active member of the Chilean Societies of Anatomic Pathology and Mastology. He has held significant roles, such as former editor of the Bulletin of the Chilean Society of Anatomic Pathology, former member of the Faculty Council at Universidad Diego Portales, and the Ethics Committee for Research at the North Metropolitan Health Service, as well as former Deputy Medical Director at the San José Hospital Complex.
